A Career in Scientific Field Observation

This isn’t just a job; it’s an expedition. Join our team of frontline scientists as a Protected Species Observer (PSO) or Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator, working at the intersection of industry and ecology.

Life at Sea

Work and live aboard client vessels for 4-10 week rotations in diverse marine environments—from the Atlantic to the Arctic. This is a demanding role for the physically fit and adventurous, requiring resilience in all conditions.

Your Responsibilities

Accurately identify marine species, collect detailed field data, operate monitoring hardware and software, and provide essential biological expertise to project crews while upholding all project-specific regulations.

Are You the Right Fit?

We are seeking adaptable, independent, and scientifically-minded individuals. You'll need a degree in natural sciences (or relevant PSO experience), strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in hectic travel and remote living conditions.
